Souvenir typescript, one page, 8.5 x 11, of paragraphs from One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich; he signs at the bottom in blue ballpoint, and types “For the Veterans’ Study Group, To Bill Anthony, with best wishes for success, September, 1980.” In part: “Reveille was sounded, as always, at 5 A.M.—a hammer pounding on a rail outside camp HQ…Shukov never slept through reveille but always got up at once.” In fine condition.
