Description

Signer of the Constitution, president of the Continental Congress, Revolutionary War quartermaster general and first governor of Pennsylvania. DS, signed “Tho: Mifflin,” one page, 20 x 11, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania letterhead, April 16, 1795. Mifflin grants 990 acres of land to William Power in Northumberland County. Signed in black ink under the paper seal by Mifflin. Matted and framed to an overall size of 24.5 x 15.75. In good condition, with heavy document folds, minor paper loss along vertical folds, worn paper seal, Mifflin’s signature light, but legible and scattered soiling. R&R COA. Oversized.
