In part: “Thank you for the interest you are taking in my candidacy. I note what you say with reference to obtaining a position as a stenographer…I refer you to the Democratic National Committee….” In very good condition, with scattered creasing, a vertical fold through a letter of the signature, several staple holes in the margins.
