I have done so with the A.G. and I think the President is much inclined toward him. He is in every way…experienced. Blair is pressing [?] the District Attorney…Meekins is the man - - Sit down and write a personal letter to the President about it.” In fine condition, with scattered areas of trivial soiling, a rusted paper clip impression to the left border of the first page, several horizontal folds.
