ALS signed “Wm. McKinley,” one page, 5.5 x 8.5, lightly lined House of Representatives, Washington D.C. letterhead, 188[?]. In part: “I have written you at length but didn’t publish my letter. Will be [?] in a few days. Want to see you. Hastily, Wm. McKinley.” McKinley has underlined “but didn’t publish my letter.” In very good condition though hastily written, with usual letter folds, with one fold through a line of text (text is still legible), a separation at one fold, a repaired separation at another fold on the reverse.
