Revolutionary War-dated DS, signed “George R,” one page, 15.75 x 11.5, February 14, 1780. George III appoints George Ormsby to be “Captain of our One Hundred and Thirty Fourth Company of Marines.” Signed in the top left corner in black ink “George R,” and countersigned by the Earl of Sandwich.
