In 1954, Reagan accepted a position as spokesman for the General Electric Company. This allowed him to tour the country as he gave motivational speeches to G.E. employees. He also starred in G.E. Theater, hosting the show and occasionally appearing in feature roles. ALS, one page, 8 x 10, December 21. In full: “Dear Mrs. Neff, Thanks very much for your very kind letter. I share your hope that our G.E. Theatre will continue for many years as this has been a most happy association for me. I did visit the ‘Pitney Plant’ about three years ago, but I think it’s possible that if the show continues I’ll be getting back there again. I certainly hope so. Again, my thanks and best regards.” In very good condition, with scattered light creasing, edge toning, a vertical fold through the first stroke of the signature, a couple of small areas of trivial soiling. COA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
