Lot of four different vintage signed photos includes: a sepia 3.5 x 5.5 military postcard portrait of von Heimburg, signed in fountain pen; a 3.5 x 5.5 military postcard portrait of Fregattenkapian Nerger, signed in fountain pen; a textured-finish 8 x 10 portrait of the portly Julius Panterbarg who signs his name in white ink and adds the sentiment “Good friends for ever…New York, March 12, 1927”; and, a matte-finish 7.25 x 7 portrait of an unnamed soldier, presumably with his wife. A lengthy inscription is written in German beneath the image, which is inlaid in a larger matte. In overall fine condition, with edge wear, toning, and scattered areas of trivial soiling to the matte of the photo of the couple, areas of silvering and the occasional crease to the other photos.
