DS as president, signed “J. Q. Adams,” one page, 13 x 18, September 22, 1825. President Adams grants David Hopkins, a Major for the Navy a 5,333 1/3 tract of land “on the waters of Darby’s Creek.” Nicely signed at the conclusion in black ink by Adams and countersigned by the Commissioner of the General Land Office, George Graham.
