Original 2.5 x 3.5 Matthew Brady carte-de-visite bust portrait photo of Lee in a suit and bowtie, signed in the lower right corner 'R. E. Lee.' This was Brady's last portrait of Lee, taken in May of 1869 during Lee's last visit to Washington when he met President Grant at the White House.
