TLS signed 'Wm. H. Taft,' one page, 7 x 9.25, personal letterhead, April 24, 1913. Written two months after leaving office, Taft makes plans to see his son perform. In part, 'I have written to Mr. Daggett...that I regret my inability to accept your invitation. Mrs. Taft and I have for some time been under a promise to go to my brother's school...and to attend a dramatic entertainment in which our boy Charley takes part.'
