Partially printed document with the debossed seal of New York reads, in part: 'To Jack Thompson, we command that you personally appear before our Chancellor on the twenty-fifth of June next to answer to a Bill of Complaint exhibited against you by our Attorney General in our behalf...and this you are not to omit under the penalty of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars.' There is writing in another hand on the reverse regarding the case. In fine condition, with scattered toning, particularly at the edges, affecting nothing, small separation a top border.
