Progressive czar of Russia, 1855-81. Widely hailed as the Liberator for freeing the serfs, he was nevertheless assassinated by a nihilist bomb. DS, in Russian, signed “Alexsander,” one page, 9 x 14, 1867. Short document, boldly signed at the conclusion in black ink by Alexander. In fine condition, with some small edge tears and creasing along top edge and a bit of mild toning. R&R COA.
