Presaident Adam grants 'LeRoy Edwards (a Captain for three years) to the United States, in the Virginia line of Continental Establishment...a certain tract of land containing six hundred and seventy seven acres.' Signed at the bottom in black ink 'John Adams,' and countersigned by Secretary of State Timothy Pickering.
