Lot of two one page TLSs, both signed 'Rod,' 8.5 x 11, both dated from 1966 on his personal letterhead to Joan Crawford. One reads, in part, 'In the welter of flying shrapnel that follows these annual television tribal rites there is an occasional breeze of approbation...Rumor has it that you're a great lady. I never doubted it. But now I have first hand proof.' In very good condition, with some staining to both letters, but neither affecting text or signature, and expected folds. RRAuction COA.
