Countersigned by Elijah Hayward, Commissioner of the General Land Office. The grant has an intact seal. The grant was purchased from Mary A. Benjamin of Walter R. Benjamin Autographs in NYC for $150.00 in 1975 and said provenance is included with the lot. In very good condition, with a few areas of trivial soiling, toning along the folds, a fold touching the signature. Jackson's large, bold signature is over 6' long.
