TLS as president signed 'Wm. H. Taft,' one page, 7 x 8.75, The White House, Washington letterhead, April 26, 1910. A letter to Frederick D. Tucker, Esq. In part: 'I have read your letter of April 22d with reference to what I should say in my speeches in the West. I don't expect on this trip to say much on politics, if anything. I am engaged in trying to get legislation now, and it does not help to make speeches. I shall be glad to see you in Saint Louis.' In fine condition, with scattered light creasing, light edge toning, small area of light soiling in the right border. RRAuction COA.
