Hand-calligraphed (not by Pius XII) DS, one page, 9 x 14, May 10, 1949. In Latin, loosely translated, in part: 'Most Holy Father, the members of the family of Erminio P. Forni, beg the Apostolic Benediction.' A photograph of the Pope is affixed to the upper center of the document and is encircled by a colorful garland of painted flowers. The document bears an embossed seal, to the left of the Pope's signature and is handsomely double-matted and framed to an overall size of 21 x 27. In fine condition. RRAuction COA. Oversized.
