“I wish to say that nothing in this campaign has given me more satisfaction that your support.”

TLS, one page, 7 x 10, Oyster Bay letterhead, June 12, 1916. Letter to a newsman, written one day after the close of the 1916 Republican convention. In part, 'That's a mighty fine telegram of yours...I wish to say that nothing in this campaign has given me more satisfaction that your support.' Roosevelt also adds the last three words of the text in his own hand. In fine condition, with scattered light toning and expected folds. RRAuction COA.
