President Lincoln appoints John Schertzer to the position of Deputy Postmaster as Massillon, Ohio, boldly signed at the conclusion in black ink by Lincoln. In good condition, with trimmed down edges, rounded corners, scotch tape repair to a total bisecting vertical separation, several tape repairs to horizontal separations, and overall light wrinkling and creasing.
