Gable gives permission for his name to be used in The P. O. W. Story

DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures letterhead, November 19, 1953. Gable gives permission for Loew's forthcoming film, entitled The P. O. W. Story, to use his name in the dialog of a prisoner's interrogation, including 'During questioning he asks one American soldier: 'Where does your family live now?' Soldier replies: 'In Hollywood with my brothers Clark Gable and Spencer Tracy and my sisters Esther Williams and Janie Powell.' Signed at the bottom in fountain pen by Gable. In fine condition, with two punch holes to top edge, office stamp to top right and a couple wrinkles. RRAuction COA.
