Contract between Barnum and Bailey and '4 Melillo Sisters,' signed by John Ringling in black fountain pen on behalf of Barnum and Bailey. The sisters were hired as an acrobatic contortion act, '4 ladies assisted by one gentleman, acrobatic contortion act, only 3 ladies in parades.' Also signed by their manager, Salvador Melillo. In very good condition with a few fold separations, a tear at the upper right corner and soiling to the back panel, none of which affects the fine signature. RRAuction COA.
