ALS signed 'Carmen Sylva,' two pages, 7 x 8.75, Castle Peles letterhead, postmarked September 3, 1909. The stationery has a superb view of the castle and grounds. In the letter, the queen asserts her love for Bach's music, admires Michelangelo's work and Joan of Arc. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, in the queen's hand. In fine condition with light feathering to a couple of letters in the signature and part of the paraph, a vertical fold through one letter of the signature. RRAuction COA.
