Consummate Yankee. ALS, three pages, 8.5 x 11.5, no date. Crosetti gives some of his life's story and baseball highlights to a young admirer. In part, 'The New York Yankees bought me in 1930 to report to them in 1932. They paid 75000.00 plus 5 players for me...I played shortstop for 17 years to 1948...I was very fortunate in going to the Yankees, as in the 37 years I was with them I was in 23 World Series. I hold the record. I was in 9 as a player and 14 as a coach. We won 17 out of the 23.' In fine condition. RRAuction COA.
