Endorsement, 'Np,' on a letter to Napoleon from his adoptive son Eugene Napoleon. Letter, in French is one page, both sides, 8 x 12, and dated January 1808. Letter is in regards to two American ships. The Jersey is coming from new York and has stopped in Sicily to check if the Naples port is open and the Violet is on its way as well. Endorsed on the front page in the top left, 'Np.' In fine condition, with a few light spots, expected folds and a couple small pencil notations.
