ALS signed 'Patsy and Julie,' two lightly-lined pages both sides, 5 x 8, October 22, 1958. Letter to a friend. In part, 'Am working radio one night a week and Sat. nites with Don Owens on T. V....it sure doesn't pay anything, but at least I am still before the public around here. I'm starting a 30 day tour Nov. 9th in Texas with the Miller Bros. I'll be back at the Flame in Minn. over the D. J. conven. darn it. I wanted to go so bad because I hear H. Thompson is to lie there for the dance in the ball room. Anyway, no one else will work during the convn. so I'm hard up and stuck with it...Julia now weighs 10 lbs. stripped and is 21.5 inches long. Two in. more than she was at birth and is spoiled terrible...How is my new record doing there? 'If I Could see The World.' It's sold out here 3 times and is getting a lot of plays around in here, but I doubt if it will do any chart making.' In very fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in her hand, and her signature 'Mrs. Charles Dick,' appearing in the return address area. RRAuction COA.
