Lot of two souvenir typescripts, both one page, 8.5 x 11, Doolittle reflects about war. In full, 'All people of good will hope there will ever be another major war, but the course of history and a consideration of human nature make it appear that we will have to work harder in the future than we have in the past if the hope is to be realized.' Signed on the bottom in black felt tip. Doolittle recounts a raid on Tokyo and the actions taken against some of his downed comrades. Signed at the top in blue ink. Both are in fine condition.
