Kennedy accepts an invitation, in part: 'I have your letter inviting me to attend the 70th Anniversary Convention Banquet of the Massachusetts Catholic Order of Foresters...In reply, I wish to thank you for your kindness in extending this invitation to me...I shall be most happy to accept it, and shall look forward to seeing you at that time.' Double matted and framed with a photo of Kennedy standing before the Capitol building, reading a newspaper, and a small engraved plate reading 'Congressman John F. Kennedy, Letter of Acceptance To A Dinner Invitation, March 15, 1950,' to an overall size of 21 x 17. In fine condition with a 'Received-Massachusetts Catholic Order of Foresters Headquarters' stamp and a small area of discoloration to the lower right corner of the letter.
