Group of three framed NASA achievement certificates from the personal collection of Apollo 14 moonwalker Edgar Mitchell, ranging in size from 11 x 10 to 14.75 x 12.75, including: a Manned Spacecraft Center Group Achievement Award for "outstanding service in carrying out its responsibilities in the Apollo Program leading to the first manned lunar landing," signed in ink by Thomas O. Paine; an Apollo Achievement Award presented "in appreciation of dedicated service to the nation as a member of the team which has advanced the nation's capabilities in aeronautics…culiminating in Apollo 11's successful achievement of man's first landing on the moon," signed in ink by Thomas O. Paine; and a Manned Spacecraft Center Superior Achievement Award presented "in recognition of his outstanding performance in validating new flight procedures in the mission simulators during the Apollo 13 emergency," signed in ink by Robert R. Gilruth. In overall very good to fine condition, with toning to two of the certificates.
