Desirable full free frank, measuring 9.75 x 7.75 unfolded with a 5.25 x 3.25 center panel, boldly addressed by William Henry Harrison to "The Cashier of the Bank of the U.S., Philadelphia," and franked in the upper right, "Free, W. H. Harrison." In fine condition, with a discreetly repaired tear passing through the word "Free" above the signature. Though undated, this free frank probably dates to Harrison's career in Congress; he served in the House of Representatives from 1816 to 1819, and in the Senate from 1825 to 1828.
