Limited edition display with a 1.75˝ cut section of the Apollo Mobile Service Structure encased in a 7.25˝ x 5˝ x 1˝ piece of Lucite along with a color image of the intact structure; on the reverse is a certificate statement from retired NASA/KSC employee Angelo Taiani, in full: "The Mobile Service Structure (MSS) was used throughout the Apollo program at Kennedy Space Center, Launch Complex 39. The giant structure weighed 4,763 metric tons with an overall height of 125 meters. The MSS provided access to both the Saturn V and Apollo Spacecraft. The structure also supported the Skylab and Apollo Soyuz Test Program. The attached metal is a portion from one of the permanently installed fire nozzles." In very fine condition.
