Staple-bound official NASA manual entitled "Final, Apollo 9 Flight Plan, AS-504/CSM-104/LM-3," dated February 3, 1969, 8 x 10.5, approximately 300 pages, from the personal collection of CDR Jim McDivitt. Prepared by the Flight Planning Branch, Crew Procedures Division at the Manned Spacecraft Center. The plan provides general notes on the mission, updates on the CSM and LM, a detailed timeline, test objective activities, and a communications plan. The comprehensive timeline is highlighted by two spacewalks and the docking and extraction of a Lunar Module. Includes a typewritten note by Jim McDivitt's secretary, "Charlotte," to McDivitt's wife Pat, in full: "It's T minus 7 days & counting! Your roommate looks great & so do Dave & Rusty. Things going smoothly. Enclosed is Final Apollo 9 Flight Plan." Also includes an "Apollo 9 Mission Highlights" document and a certificate of authenticity from the Novaspace 'Jim McDivitt Garage Sale.' In overall very good to fine condition, with some staining to the front of the flight plan, and toning to the typewritten note.
