Description

Collection of 19 softcover books for NASA’s moon-landing Surveyor program, consisting of scarce volumes issued by NASA and Cal Tech’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory for the five successful Surveyor lunar landing missions—1, 3, 5, 6, and 7, which respectively landed at the Ocean of Storms, Sinus Medii (Center/Middle Bay), Sea of Tranquility, and Tycho Crater. There are between three and four volumes from each lander mission that detail the surface conditions in instrument reading and television images, which include the solar eclipse of the Earth and the first color picture of the Earth. Each volume features ample images of the lunar surface that allowed NASA to plan for the first human landings on the Moon. In overall fine condition. The volumes, divided by mission, are as follows:
