Color first edition of the Apollo 8 Lunar Orbit Chart, 41 x 12, dated December 4, 1968. The chart displays areas in darkness and earthshine, lunar sunset and sunrise terminator lines for the 1st and 10th revolutions and a wide assortment of lunar landmarks and regions. Titled in the lower right corner, "Apollo Lunar Orbit Chart (ALO), Apollo Mission 8, 1st and 10th Revolutions, 26 December 1968 Launch Date." Lithographed by ACIC 12-68, and prepared under the direction of the Department of Defense by the Aeronautical Chart and Information Center. Rolled and in fine condition, with a few slight vertical bends.
