Fields, accomplished in ink on an off-white 11.25 x 8.5 sheet, which depicts a man driving a speeding roadster that appears to be soaring high above a valley, with a hiker fleeing from a nearby summit, smoke rising from the chimney of houses below, and a small ship floating in a distant sea, the tops of mountains and an island also visible in the background. Signed in the upper left corner, “Sincerely yrs, W. C. Fields.” In very good condition, with soiling, staining, toning, and several professional repairs to edge tears.
