Scarce original color 14 x 22 cardstock poster for the world premiere of “The World of Ray Bradbury,” presented by the Pandemonium Theatre Co., and held at the Coronet Theatre in Los Angeles, California, on October 8, 1964, signed nicely in red felt tip, “Ray Bradbury, Oct. 1964.” In fine condition, with two surface scuffs. Bradbury headed the Pandemonium Theatre Company in Los Angeles for many years. The writer worked with the late Alan Neal Hubbs, Pandemonium’s artistic director, to adapt some of his fiction for the stage and often presented them at the Fremont, the Court Theatre, and the Coronet. The debut production of ‘The World of Ray Bradbury’ at the Coronet, initially deemed a ‘limited engagement,’ proved very popular. It ran for several months before stopping in February 1965.
