Manuscript vellum papal document in Latin, one page, 16.25 x 10, May 14, 1823. An untranslated decree from Pope Pius VII sending orders to Antoine de Pons, the Bishop of Moulins, France. The ornate, hand-decorated document is signed by several members of the Roman Curia in the lower resection and on the underside of the bottom flap. In fine, folded condition.
