Description

TLS, one page, 8 x 10.5, personal Supreme Court of the United States letterhead, October 8, 1952. Letter to Professor S. Chesterfield Oppenheim, in full: “Thank you very much for sending me a reprint of your article in the Michigan Law Review on Federal Anti-trust Legislation. I had already run my eye over the essay as it appeared in the June number of the Michigan Law Review, and did so with profit. You will not expect me to say more. Not until I started to dictate this note did I realize you had gone to Michigan. I congratulate that Law School on its accession, and send you all good wishes for what I know will be a happy association.” In fine condition.
