Description

Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Pennsylvania (1739–1813) who served as the first president of the Philadelphia Bank. ADS, signed "Geo. Clymer," one page, 5.5 x 2, February 28, 1803. Handwritten pay order issued by Clymer, in full: "Pay Mr. Conger or bearer Twenty dollars." Mounted, matted, and framed with an engraved portrait to an overall size of 10.75 x 16.25. In fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA.
