Description

TLS as president, one page, 7 x 8.75, White House letterhead, April 3, 1913. Letter to the Hon. William F. McCombe, in part: "Thank you for your letter of April 2nd in the interest of Colonel Birch. I am glad to have it." Wilson offers some sage advice in a handwritten postscript, signed with his initials, "W. W.," in full: "Don't let the newspapers affect your conclusions at all." In fine condition.
