Partly-printed vellum DS as president, signed “J. Q. Adams,” one page, 13.5 x 9.25, April 1, 1825. President Adams grants Zacheus Parham, assignee of Henry Jones, a tract "containing One hundred and fifty six acres and ninety six hundredths of an acre of the Lands directed to be sold at Cincinnati by the Acts of Congress, entitled 'An Act providing for the sale of the Lands of the United States in the Territory north west of Ohio, and above the mouth of Kentucky River.'" Signed at the conclusion by John Quincy Adams and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. The off-white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. In fine condition.
