World War II–dated fountain pen signature, "G. S. Patton, Jr.," on an off-white 5.25 x 2.5 slip clipped from a free-franked mailing envelope addressed to his wife (marked "Free" in Patton's own hand), postmarked by the U.S. Army Postal Service on January 20, 1945. In fine condition. Encapsulated and graded by PSA/DNA as “NM-MT 8.”
