Legendary organized crime leader (1902–1983) who headed the notorious ‘enforcement’ syndicate Murder, Inc., which emerged in the early 1930s as successor to the warring Prohibition gangs and the old-line Mafia, and continued to operate into the 1950s. Original vintage circa 1977 snapshot photograph of Meyer Lansky and friends, with "This Paper Manufactured by Kodak" watermarks on the reverse. Reverse also bears a "Print Made by Kodak, Mar. 77" ink stamp. In very fine condition. Encapsulated by PSA as an authentic "Type I" photograph.
