Volunteer participation medal issued for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Silver, 40 mm, 25 gm. The front depicts a unique sea-to-sky landscape design and the Olympic rings; the reverse bears the Winter Games emblem, graphics inspired by Canada’s natural and cultural diversity, and a raised motto, “With glowing hearts / des plus brillants exploits.” Complete with original case. Smaller than the athlete’s participation medals, these were distributed to volunteers.
