President Pierce directs the Secretary of State to "affix the Seal of the United States to the pardon granted to William Corbitt." Crisply signed at the conclusion by Franklin Pierce. Archivally double-matted and framed with two plaques and a portrait to an overall size of 23.25 x 19.25. In very good to fine condition, with some light creasing and staining.
