French industrialist (1878–1935) best remembered for the make of car bearing his name. Vintage pearl-finish 6 x 7.75 portrait photo of Andre Citroen, affixed to its original 8 x 9.5, signed and inscribed by Citroen in fountain pen to French singer and entertainer Maurice Chevalier. In very good condition, with dings and scratches to the image, and some minor damage to the mount. Citroen remains quite scarce in signed photographs, this being just our second example.
