Fantastic original color 20 x 28.25 concert poster for the Australian leg of Nirvana's 'Nevermind' Pacific Rim Tour, featuring the iconic 'naked baby' album artwork inside an unfertilized egg being swarmed by an army of sperm. Designed by artist Ben Brown, the poster lists the nine dates and venues for the tour, which brought Nirvana to Sydney, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Canberra from January 24–February 5, 1992. In very good condition, with a heavy crease passing through "Nirvana" at the top, and tack holes to corners.
Nirvana's 1992 Pacific Rim Tour marked the band's first visit to Australia, taking place in early 1992, shortly after the release of their breakthrough album Nevermind. The tour, which included stops in cities like Sydney and Melbourne, was a chaotic and energetic affair, with the band's growing fame attracting massive crowds. Despite some technical issues and Kurt Cobain's struggles with illness, the tour was pivotal in cementing Nirvana's status as a global rock phenomenon.
