TLS, one page, 8 x 10.5, Federal Bureau of Investigation letterhead, December 13, 1967. Letter to Maurice J. White of the FBI in Chicago, in part: "I am pleased to commend you for the outstanding manner in which you handled the overall supervision of the Theft from Interstate Shipment case involving Salvatore De Rose and others. In recognition of your splendid services, I have approved an incentive award for you in the amount of $150.00 which the enclosed check represents.

You capably issued instructions to direct agents to the scene as quickly as possible. Displaying adroitness and skill, you quickly analyzed information, made immediate decisions and issued vital instructions. Your judgment, industry and enthusiasm encouraged the utmost performance from the men under your direction and I want you to know of my appreciation." In fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
