Rare 7˝ EMI acetate pressing of the Beatles song ‘Help!,’ which was recorded at London’s EMI Studios on April 13, 1965. The acetate disc bears an Emidisc label annotated with track and band name, “Help! The Beatles,” the run time, “2:17,” and “45, AC,” the latter the initials of EMI engineer Anthony Clark. In very good to fine condition, with scattered scuffs and scratches. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. An exceedingly rare original acetate for an all-time Beatles song—the title song for the 1965 film and the band's accompanying soundtrack album, ‘Help!’ was released as a single in July 1965 and was number one for three weeks in the United States and the United Kingdom. In 2008, the 1965 Capitol Records recording of ‘Help!’ was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
