Flown 1.5 x 1.5 segment of multi-layer insulation (MLI) foil from the Hubble Telescope, which was deployed on April 25, 1990, and recovered on December 24, 1999. The foil is encased in a 4.5 x 4.5 x 1 acrylic block, with a certificate that reads on either side: “For Dedication and Service to the Hubble Space Telescope” and “This Piece of Multilayer Insulation Flew on the Hubble Space Telescope, April 25, 1990–December 24, 1999.” In fine condition.
